This 40 Jahre 911 is a very special car and cannot be replicated because of the rare x51 power plant that all of the anniversary cars come with bumping up the horsepower to about 345 are not being made anymore, the package consists of Intake air manifold with modified cross section, adapted intake manifold pipes, exhaust manifold with larger cross section and optimized flow characteristics, cylinder heads with optimized inlet ports, camshafts with greater valve stroke on inlet side and modified inlet/exhaust valve timing, inlet valve springs adapted to increased valve stroke, modified bulkhead box in oil pan, additional radiator, and a modified map for the DME control unit. These anniversary cars came with the special GT Silver Metallic paint color, which was only on this car, the Carrera GT and no other 996. Costing just about $90,000 new this car was the car to have back in 2003, and with the aero kit it makes this anniversary car stand out from the other anniversary cars. The 911 was just completely serviced at Checkered Flag Porsche in Virginia Beach January of this year at 48k miles, the car has a impeccable service history ever since new and has the factory specific Pirelli PZero Rosso tires.
